It's Not Only Success

You just finished a huge performance, and the crowd loved you. You did not even mess up once. You gave this performance your all and you delivered the best in the area. That feeling of accomplishment, of proudness, of eagerness, that is what success feels like. Success is a feeling you get when you make yourself proud. When you accomplish something, you tried so hard to do, when you have given joy to others with the gift of your own human abilities, that is success.

            What is the definition of success? Success can mean different things to different people, but to me, it means captivating others. Making other's view me as something special. Doing something, and them being proud of me for doing that. When you succeed in something, you get a feeling from a person when they are proud of you.

            You get a joy, deep inside you when someone is proud of you. When you have done something successfully, and the person you did it for is proud of you, you get this feeling of accomplishment. A feeling you get from nothing else but success. Let's say you do a really good job cleaning at work, and the boss notices. He or she gives you a compliment towards your success of the job, which in turn makes you happy. It gives you that extra boost to finish your job or to continue with your day. But what feels the best about that is the joy you gave the other person. Through your success, you gave someone else joy.

            Giving someone else joy through your success is one of the best things you can do for you. It makes the whole trial worth it. All the hard work you put in to succeed and all the time and effort, is all now worth it because you made someone else happy. The whole purpose of your success is not to bring joy and happiness to yourself. It is not to bring any sort of light onto yourself. The purpose of your success, is to bring joy and happiness to others. But one specifically, is the one who needs to gain it all from your success. After all He is the one who gave your success to you. God is the ultimate success. He should be the reason we succeed, and want to succeed. All our joy and happiness in succeeding, should go to Him.

            You feel success when you gratify yourself. That thing you have been trying to do for so long gets finished. Giving out joy and happiness to others through your own personal success, that is what the terms of success are. If you go through life trying to please yourself, you are only going to let yourself down. Succeed in God, because He wants you to succeed. The joy and happiness you get from success in God is a way better feeling of success then you could ever bring yourself. Triumph for the Lord, and you will be very successful.
